Cute restaurant and good ambiance. Really wanted to love it but my squid ink pasta was really tasteless...fresh ingredients but could use stronger flavors.

The most delicious mouth watering food and a great staff! Can't go wrong with anything on this menu!! Very classic italian restaurant look inside but thats what makes it even better as its very no frills. Highly recommend and been coming here for 8 years.

Updating my review for this place after coming back for their tips for change for the Danville community band. First off, compared to my last two experiences that were takeout, their in person experience has been better in comparison. Their bread is not much to write about. Pretty cold and chewy. Wish it was warmed up a bit or something. That said, their lemonade is pretty solid. I think it's fresh? Not certain, but it definitely tastes different than your usual Minute Maid lemonade. The orange Italian soda was a bit disappointing as it was just San Pellegrino. (Though their menu doesn't label it as that.) I'd suggest just labeling it as San Pelligrino than "Orange Italian Soda". Entree wise, my fiance got the maccheroni which when I tried it was pretty good. Vastly different and much better in taste than their ravioli, gnocchi, or linguine and clams (which was gone from the menu). I ordered the Stracotto (slow cooked short rib) and it was pretty delicious. Could possibly do with less sauce but the beef was good as well as zucchini and potatoes. The star of the night however was their budino alle nocciole (chocolate hazelnut pudding). It's not your normal pudding but it was so good. It was warm and delicious and their sauces off to the side were also really good with their ice cream. This dessert is definitely a keeper. So I suppose I'll look forward to retuning at the next Tips for Change event with the Danville Community Band.

Order the squid ink pasta with the scallops slightly seared. Request a lemon slice and red pepper flakes on the side. You are welcome!
